CBSF Leadership Team
2017-18 Leadership Team
Logan is the Engagement Leader of CBSF at UNC. He is a Senior biomedical engineering major with a passion for taking things apart, wearing tie-dye clothing, making regrettable puns, and avoiding mayonnaise. He is also the technology guru who created this website.
Victoria is the Social and Admin Leader of CBSF. She is a Junior who never tans and deep-down will always believe she is a mermaid. She enjoys making brownies, math, and the look on people's faces when she says that she actually enjoys math.
Cody is the Spiritual Formation Leader for CBSF. He is a Junior Religious Studies and Psychology major and enjoys long walks on the beach, hiking in the mountains, and taking naps in the Piedmont. Carolina sports are his life. #GoHeelsGoAmerica
Jack is the Communications Leader for CBSF. He is a Junior journalism major, proud brother of the Engagement Leader, and an avid sports fan. He has been thought to assume the pseudonym "$waggyJ" on more than one occasion. #GDTBATH
Michael serves as the CBSF Campus Ministry Intern. He is entering his second year at Campbell University Divinity School, pursuing a Master of Divinity. He graduated in May 2016 from UNC Charlotte with a Bachelors in Psychology.
He enjoys hiking, golfing, and hammocking. He also spends entirely too much watching and following soccer, but will unashamedly continue to do it.
He has a passion for working through this messy life with college students, in hopes to see how our own stories are part of God's story as well. He desires to engage students of all backgrounds and places of life, finding the common threads between each of us.
Rev. Lawrence Powers
CBFNC Triangle Area Campus Minister (Raleigh Area, UNC Chapel Hill, Duke) | email@example.com
Lawrence serves as the CBSF Campus Minister for the Raleigh Area, UNC-Chapel Hill and as the Co-Campus Minister at Duke University. Lawrence graduated from Campbell University in 2009 with his Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion and Philosophy and from the Campbell University Divinity School in 2013 with his Master of Divinity degree.
Lawrence loves working with students and journeying alongside them as they move through their college years. His philosophy is that every person should be given the space and ability to claim their own faith identity and wrestle with the calling that God has placed on their lives. This is the identity behind CBSF's events in Raleigh, Chapel Hill and at Duke.
Lawrence is married to Heather, a Certified Athletic Trainer who works in Chapel Hill and together they have two dogs: Maggie, a corgii/snauzer mix, and Widget, a Jack Russell Terrier mix. They are also licensed foster parents and are working toward adopting from the foster care system!
